Committed to Federal Accountability, Local Governance, the theme for the Fourth National Congress on Integrity, OHMSI has given birth to CITIZENS EYES, a powerful tool that will transform the way our local municipality is governed.

CITIZENS EYES is inspired by the concept of e-Government. It is your report card of your local state assemblyman, Member of Parliament and the local authorities, which will be read by the Federal Government, including our beloved prime minister.

With the launch of CITIZENS EYES on February 3, 2007, Malaysia is probably the first country in the world to have its virtual government, where ordinary citizens can have a say in the effort to improve the quality of life, right where they stay.

We encourage you, as an ordinary citizen, to help bridge the integrity gap, between the good intentions of the Government of the day and what you, as an ordinary citizen, experience in real life.

Send your pictures highlighting any complaints that you have of public facilities in your neighbourhood potholes, streetlights, traffic lights, illegal dumps, traffic jams, parking congestion, etc with a short description of how it is affecting you or your neighbours. See a sample of the photo and the type of comments to be made.

It is compulsory that you should provide your contact details for the relevant government department or peoples representatives to contact you for more details. Should you encounter any harassment from any local authority, please do not hesitate to contact us
